Founded: December 4, 1867

Founded as the "Patrons of Husbandry", the National Grange is a national association of local groups called Granges. Although the Grange is primarily a lobbying body, the Granger Party ran one candidate for California Railroad Commission in 1882. The organization still exists today, with a national office in Washington, DC and a state affiliate in Sacramento.
