Married: Susan D. Eastman
Children: Cleora M., Nancy J., Arthur L., Leona M., Marcella, Albion Henry, and Clara
Died: February 10, 1884 in San Francisco, CA

1858: Representative, Minnesota State Legislature*

  • Whitney never served as a member of either the Minnesota Territorial or State Legislatures. However, a legislature was elected for the 1858 but were never called into session because the work of the 1857 Legislature was felt to be adequate enough to render an 1858 session unnecessary. Whitney left Minnesota for California in 1859.
  • Be Fruitful and Multiply: Whitney had seven children.
