1883-1889: Trustee, Stockton Public Library
1899: Police and Fire Commissioner, City of Stockton

  • PLACENAME: Budd Creek and Budd Lake (at Yosemite National Park) were named for Governor Budd.
  • PLACENAME: Budd Hall (at the UC Berkeley campus) named in 1908 and was razed in 1930 to clear site for Moses Hall.
