John Lafferty

Candidate Biography:

Born: Nevada Co., CA
Died (in office): February 24, 1886 in San Francisco, CA

• Lafferty was the first Assemblymember to represent AD-36.
• Lafferty is definitely not the same John Lafferty who was awarded the Medal of Honor on two occasions (in 1864 and 1881). That John Lafferty died in 1903.
