Candidate Biography:

Born: 1804 in Kentucky or 1840 in Indiana
Died: April 10, 1874 in Santa Rosa, CA

  • According to the 1860 Federal Census, there were two men named William Ross living in Annally (Sonoma Co.) at that time. It's not clear if it was the father or son who served in the legislature, but more likely the 56-year-old father than the 20-year-old son.
