  • GEOGRAPHY: McCorquodale is one of a VERY small number of elected officials in the modern era to hold elected offices in several different regions of the state. In the 1960s, he was Mayor of Chula Vista (San Diego County), in the 1970, he was a Santa Clara County Supervisor, and in the 1980s, he represented a district that included Santa Clara and Stanislaus Counties.
