- NEAR MISS: On July 7, 2017, Jones was aboard Air Canada flight 759 from Toronto when the Airbus A320 mistakely prepared to land on a crowded taxiway at San Francisco rather than runway 28R. The Air Canada flight reportedly missed colliding with another airplane on the taxiway by less than 100 vertical feet.
