• According to an article in OC Weekly, Head fought in the battles of Shiloh, Atlanta, Chickamauga and Murfreesboro and was a Grand Cyclops in a Nashville den of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK).
• Horace Caldwell Head was the Orange County District Attorney (1903-1906).
• Be Fruitful and Multiply: Head had seven children.
