  • During his 1989 campaign, opponents "Brett Granlund and Conrad Nelson, called for his withdrawal recently after receiving copies, sent anonymously, of an advertisement depicting Ford nude in the August edition of "Swingers Hot Line." Ford reportedly appeared nude in a 1984 issue of Playgirl magazine. He said he has appeared nude in publications numerous times."
