  • Ben Benoit has served as a member of the Wildomar City Council (2010-2022), as Mayor of Wildomar (2012), and as Auditor/Controller of Riverside County (2022-Present).
  • On November 23, 2016, Benoit was diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer and began aggressive chemotherapy beginning following week. In a statement, Benoit said that “the prognosis is not good.” Benoit died just over a month later at his home.
