Died (in office): October 15, 1906 in Monrovia, CA

  • Espey died after the end of the legislative session, but before the end of his elected term.
  • There appears to be some disagreement on the spelling of his name. Contemporary legislative records and newspaper articles spell it Espey, while his grave says Espy.
