Howard Anthony Broughton
Born: October 6, 1863 in Santa Cruz, CA
Died: October 18, 1951 in Los Angeles, CA

  • LEGISLATION: Author of SB 11 (Chapt. 227, Stats of 1907) which was intended by the author to aid the creation of a new Pasadena-based "County of San Antonio" out of land within Los Angeles County, but eventually instead resulted in the creation of Imperial County out of land within San Diego.
