  • LEGISLATION: As staffer for Assemblyman Knight, Pugno was the aide who staffer for AB 1982 (1996), which was the last bill to have a tie vote in the State Senate broken by the Lieutenant Governor. 
  • CLOSE CONTEST: Pugno narrowly won a spot in the 2012 General election when he defeated Regy Bronner by 809 votes (0.8%). In fact, it wasn't until June 22nd (17 days after the Primary) that Pugno moved from third place to second and secured a place on the November ballot.
