Candidate Biography:

Daniels Russell Logue
Born: September 2, 1950 in San Francisco, CA
Married: Peggy
Daughter: Cheni
Died: July 22, 2021 in Marysville, CA

1980: Yolo County Co-Chairman, Ronald Reagan for President campaign
2004: Yuba County Chairman, Bush-Cheney Reelection campaign
2006: Yuba County Chair, Arnold Schwarzenegger for Governor campaign
2002-2008: Member, Yuba County Board of Supervisors
2008: Chairman, Yuba County Board of Supervisors
2012: Special Primary Election Candidate for SD-04 (Lost; 11.5%)

  • In 2007, Logue (then a County Supervisor) was the target of an attempted recall led by Rex Archer. The recall failed to qualify for the ballot.
  • Hometown: Logue lived in Linda (in Yuba County) from 2009 until August 2011, when he moved to Lake Wildwood (in Nevada Co.). In April 2012, Logue moved back to Loma Rica (in Yuba Co.). News articles from 2008-2012 often referred to him being from Marysville (the nearest city to his home), and from 2012-2014, news coverage often referred to Logue as being from Chico (in Butte County) because that's where his district office was located.
  • On the ballot twice: Because he was a candidate for reelection to AD-03 and a special election candidate for State Senate in SD-04, Logue appeared twice on the November 2012 ballot.
