Married: Theron Otto Honeycutt (m. 1960, d. 2019)
Child: Patricia I., Matthew J., and Tad Theron Honeycutt (Hesperia City Council, 2000-2008)
Family: Honeycutt's husband Theron served on the Hesperia City Council (1992-1995)

  • Legal Troubles: In 2007, Tad Honeycutt was indicted on 15 counts of misappropriation of public funds ($23 million), 15 counts of grand theft, three counts of failure to file a state tax return and a single count of filing a false tax return in relation to the financial collapse of California Charter Academy (the largest charter school operator in California) in 2004. As of 2021, these charges are currently pending and the case has not yet gone to trial.
