  • PLACENAME: The Waldo Tunnel on U.S. Route 101 near Sausalito, California was named for him until 2015, when ACR 1 (by Marc Levine) renamed it for actor Robin Williams. 
  • PLACENAME: The Waldo Grade is the name of the hill that the Waldo Tunnel goes through.
  • PLACENAME: Waldo Park in Salem [Oregon] was named for Waldo.
