Special Election to fill the vacancies created by the resignations of State Senator Paul B. Carpenter (SD-33) and Assemblywoman Gloria Molina (AD-56).
Carpenter resigned after being elected to the State Board of Equalization. Molina resigned after being elected to the Los Angeles City Council.
