Family: Grandson of Speaker William W. Stow
Died: June 23, 1949

1915: Stow was recognized for his scientific contributions in developing lemons that could grow in the Santa Barbara climate.

  • PLACENAME: The Stow House (located in Goleta's Lake Los Carneros Natural and Historic Preserve), was the childhood home of Senator Stow.
