1994-1998: Member, Fresno City Council (won special election to succeed Brian Setencich)
2002: Primary Candidate for CD-21 (Lost; 25.7%)
2004: Primary Candidate for AD-29 (Lost; 26.9%)

  • Budget Vote (2001): Four Assembly Republicans voted for the budget in 2001. Two, Mike Briggs and Richard Dickerson, were defeated in their primary elections and two others, David Kelley and Anthony Pescetti, declined to run again.
