- A large number of newspapers and articles (and this website) apparently misspelled his last name "Voight" for quite a while.
- Legal Troubles: In April 1943, Voigt was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon after Benita West reported that he had threatened her with brass knuckles and said that he had a .38 pistol in his car.
